This was a most fascinating and suprising experience that far exceeded my expectations. Our Tour Leader was very friendly and did not mind explaining any of our questions. She was super organised and took time to get to know us and find out any specific things we would like to see.

I did both tours with Myo. He provided explanation about the ride before we boarded the train. Unfortunately, we could travel on the entire loop due to track maintenance works. We got all the way to the market, colourful and chaotic but well worth visiting. After coming back to town, we had a decent lunch in a local restaurant. The streets by night tour is a tour for a foodie; it’s be great though if there were more places visited even if there’s only finger food available in each of them.

Mr Myo was a Very good guide, good English. We only had a few hours in Yangon before our next flight to Heho, so guide picked us up in minivan the luggage stayed in the car with driver while we viisited the Shwedagon Pagoda. We had over an hour, quick but good.

My guide was very enthusiastic. He was happy to answer all questions and fun to spend the day with. I would have liked to stop off at a couple more places, such as melamu paya. I also would have liked maybe a more authentic or traditional lunch place. I thought the tour would be linger, but overall, I was satisfied.

A great way to see the major sights of Yangon in one day, especially Shwedagon where you really need a local to explain the significance. Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable.

Our amazing guide Myat took my husband and me for a lovely stroll through dynamic streets of Yangon, while explaining the city's interesting history & present. We walked around colonial buildings downtown and along the river front among the many stands and stalls with literally everything from expensive iPhones and tablets to rubbish jewelry and all sorts of delicious food. We have stopped at different places to have little local snacks, until we finished in Chinatown (where Chinese New Year was being celebrated - lucky us, it was super cool!) and Myat took us to a cool local place for beer and Burmese barbecue.
We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and very pleasant conversation with Myat and our fellow travelers.
My advice: Do this tour upon your arrival to Yangon, it's perfect as an orientation tour into the city and its food.
Thank you, Myat, for a really great night and Phyoe, the UA manager, for being incredibly helpful with the booking and answering all my questions via email before our arrival.
